Have you gone through a rough patch in your life that you wish you'd be somewhere else? I am currently experiencing a stage where I don't know what's expected of me up front. When you're a professional, expecting to do what you've always thought you will be doing, you'd be very frustrated and walking in the dark when you're asked to do something so different you thought you shouldn't even be pouring most of your week's hours on it alone.
Maybe that's life. Maybe you don't reap what you sow. Maybe this is part of the learning process. Patience might be the key. It's the only reason I cling on for now...
Just be patient.
Ahboo, a friend of mine, will be going down south (from Christchurch) pretty soon. Another recruit that's going to join the new mailing list of the work force. Probably one day we all might need each other?
All the best my dear friend. "Patience is the key".

This is for adults only. If you’re under 18, skip this page. Don't be offended whatsoever. It's just for joking purposes.

More Corporate Lessons:
A priest offered a lift to a Nun. She got in and crossed her legs, forcing her gown to reveal a leg. The priest nearly had an accident. After controlling the car, he stealthily slid his hand up her leg. The nun said, "Father, remember Psalm 129?" The priest removed his hand. But, changing gears, he let his hand slide up her leg again. The nun once again said, "Father, remember Psalm 129?" The priest apologized "Sorry sister but the flesh is weak." Arriving at the convent, the nun went on her way. On his arrival at the church, the priest rushed to look up Psalm 129. It said, "Go forth and seek, further up, you will find glory." Moral of the story: If you are not well informed in your job, you might miss a great opportunity.

How was your weekend? Mine sucked.
Picture of the day(post): An MMS pic sent by a former coursemate of mine Gerald at MEM year. Did i look different?

Knowing that my gf is hanging out with her mates at the coyote i'd say this is the first time I feel so left out. haha. usually i'll be going all out for these kind of functions/gatherings but now here i am typing and telling you how life is like in the busy and lonely world of auckland city.
If i have to describe the city, i can say it's a soul-less community with too many cars. The city can be forgiven for having cars queuing up during peak hours. But on a saturday afternoon, I'd prefer to stay at home rather than joining the platoon... bumper to bumper....
I hope I get to enjoy myself some time, without worrying about life... For those of you still in uni, this is one you should learn: drink. But if you drink, drink responsibly.
Not offending the almighty god but this is what I found when i shopped with Mabel a few months back at a local store. Check this out: "Our Father (drinking version)"
Our lager which art in barrels.
Hallowed be thy drink
thy will be drunk i will be drunk
at home as in the tavern
give us this day our foamy head
and forgive us our spillages
as we forgive those
who spilled against us
and lead us not to incarceration
but deliver us from hangovers.
For thine is the beer
the bitter and the lager.
For ever and ever.
Bar men.

Have a good weekend ppl.

More Management Lessons:

A sales rep, an administration clerk, and the manager are walking to lunch when they find an antique oil lamp. They rub it and a Genie comes out. The Genie says, "I'll give each of you just one wish." "Me first! Me first!" says the admin. clerk. "I want to be in the Bahamas, driving a speedboat, without a care in the world." Poof! She's gone "Me next! Me next!" says the sales rep. "I want to be in Hawaii, relaxing on the beach with my personal masseuse, an endless supply of Pina Coladas and the love of my life." Poof! He's gone. "OK, you're up," the Genie says to the manager. The manager says, "I want those two back in the office after lunch." Moral of the story: Always let your boss have the first say.

It's Friday What are you doing?Be your own boss.

"You put yourself on the line, risked it all and it has paid off richly. XXXX has accepted your invitation to be Friendsters! Oh the times you'll have - - chatting, joining groups together, checking out your joint horoscope, reading each other's blogs, and more. "
What's with this stupid template Friendster created for all users who've added their friends? Lame. But the upside is that Friendster's improved a lot since I last bitched about it. Keep it up. :)
Speaking about Friendster, there's this other matey thing on tv: cant trust mates dot co dot nz. Ever visited the site? I found it meaningless until lately when i came across this LTSA site: http://www.ltsa.govt.nz/media/2005/050909.html ... Drinking is good, but you have to know your limits.
Yes, you can trust your mates, but you have to trust your instincts too.

shit it snowed. finally. but i missed it by 12 hours! shouldn't have come back to akl. should have stayed in chch. should have stayed to watch the boring match. should have stayed to stay sick....
while it was snowing heavily in chch, it's pouring every 20 minutes here in auckland city. what a crazy weather eh? for the first time I feel cold walking down the streets of the city.... it is a really special occasion: a day after moon cake fest, a day after liverpool coughing out another boring match with red devils, a day to celebrate my dad's birthday, and a day to look forward to when everything else seems really dull.
Maybe I think too much....
p.s. borrowed May's photo. Her baby car covered with snow. HOpe I could be there to play with snow too.....Christchurch is still the place to live and breathe at ease.

Did you vote today? I didn't. Politics' not my thing but National's 19% tax as opposed to Labours 33% is the most appealing to any working people... hmm... I'm no supporter to any of them, just to stress this point.

Petrol prices have gone up again......... 153.9c/litre. Man, this is killing me. What's killing more people now is the Hurricane Katrina. For the past few days, scenes you'll never expect to be seen in the U.S. are so extraordinarily saddening. It looks much worse than one you see in 9/11.
Don't know how I could help but here's the link you might want to visit if you have the extra effort or cash to help: http://www.cnn.com/SPECIALS/2005/katrina/help.center/
