I have not been able to connect to my stupid Jetstream connection for the past 5 days. It's a shame when an expensive fee is paid monthly to get such fast connection and all I got was a bloody connection that's as slow as a 14.4kbps (ten years ago remember?). I called up Telecom and complained for one full hour and I even helped them to diagnose the whole damn problem, reading out the pings and paths. In the end all i got was a reply from the guy, "It seems that your area has been having this problem since the past few days and we are still trying to solve it" followed by "I'm sorry"... wtf?
I hung up and five minutes later the company called back and told me that my bill for the month will be refunded. I guess that could not solve my problem. I need this connection to stay in touch with the outside world. Well, that's the best I could get. 60 bucks a month is no joke.
