Got myself a pretty decent deal today.
Sold my bed for $215. Sold my study desk for $40. Awesome!
I've never been stingy or selfish to be honest. I have always been the person who shares everything he has. I never really ask for anything equivalent back.
Sorry. I'm being emotional here. Maybe it's flat moving time. In fact it's gonna be a base for me again! New Market. hmm... sounds good. Sounds promising. Well at least I know it won't be another packing time after this at least for a year or two. It will be a base for me to just sit back and relax and concentrate on something bigger. Something more challenging in life.
There came my queen bed and my study desk. Well these two had been there for me since I moved up to Auckland. Bought them for a decent if not cheap price from shops here. It's a pretty hard decision to sell them. But I've got three desks and one king single bed already here from Christchurch and couldn't find any other reason to keep them.
Maybe it's the sentimental value. Maybe not. Maybe I'll just sell them. Reap some cash back and focus on the future. Why bring along something that ain't gonna be used when you can just get them out of the way? Maybe getting rid of them would be useful for someone (like the Trademe buyers apparently in the case). Don't stress your brain too much with unnecessary junk. If it's to be taken out, DO IT.
Same goes with anything else. If you wanna earn more, you gotta give more too. Don't just sit there and wait to be spoon fed.
That's life. Respect and make full use of it.
