inside my mind.

I dont know how to begin my blog about the quarter century. It's just.... awesome.

It's supposed to be on a Sunday but heck we started mine on the Saturday evening.

Thanks to Kenny for the football! That's the ACG spirit!

The dinner started at 7pm. Wasn't punctual enough for myself since it's pretty difficult to find a car park on a rainy day down at the Viaduct. Somehow I just bumped into Martyn near BC and I was dropped off right in front of the restaurant for dinner.

Thanks to Warren for organising this dinner at Wang Thai Restaurant (apparently voted the best thai restaurant in auckland).

Thanks to Mia and Richard for the Aguavero Tequila. You guys shouldn't have to eh. hehe very much appreciate it! Hey we'll share this among the ACG's ya?

Party at Bungalow8 started pretty slowly at 10.30pm but picked up within 30 minutes. Friends from everywhere in Auckland swarmed in every 5-10 minutes. Last I counted: at least 80 people came and went.

It was a good night as I got to know more people since friends brought friends who brought their friends which in the end got me pretty lost! I can't remember names but I surely can remember the face! (Do say hi if you see me next time!)

Left Bungalow8 at 2am for Margaritas. Around half of the people who went to Bungalow were at Margaritas. It was a good night.

Sunday started at midday for me. Went for yumcha at Grand Harbour with May Ho and Warren. Not the usual numbers since the rest were, i think, pretty dead. haha.

The evening was another major event: celebrating Yan's return to the kiwi land from Hong Kong and Taiwan. Thanks to Janice for the long awaited cooking. Last time we had the chance to taste her cooking was.... Christmas? haha. seems very long still. It was a dinner where Mel showed up after a month long absence from the ACG scene. (welcome to the tag clan! *wink*)

It was supposed to be just another DVD night after dinner but half way through the DVD session a surprise birthday cake was given to me by my lovely baby sister. Carol: u shouldn't have to. We're mates! remember! hah! (there wasn't a proper knife so I used a cleaver)

Other gifts given to me were some Roddies by Mabel frm Christchurch, a telephone call from her mother, a voice message by Dominic from Malaysia, as well as text messages from all over the world.

The biggest gift this year will have to be the apartment! Thanks to my parents for that! Not entirely mine but it surely will be the launching pad / drive to get my own property in the near future.

All in all, it was an awesome one. I can't compare this with any other parties because I've only had one in my life. This will be the only one time I have it.

Thanks to all who made this happen for me. You know who you are.
