Phobia themed weekend's pretty short for me these days...
Started from Friday evening at a Korean restaurant on Lorne St. Can't remember what it's called.... Bokcholee??
Usual gang for dinner.
Some random Korean dude came to our table and asked Mia 'excuse me can i take a photo of you?' ... (?!!!) not that we feel weird or something since Mia does attract a lot of attention at most times but.... what troubles the mind is: this dude.
A shy looking guy, low self esteem unfriendly look on his face, together with his pink attire. i mean PINK. Imagine an unapproachable guy with F4 member type of hairstyle, no smile on his face, and most importantly: pink. Pink outfit! pink shirt, pink jacket and pink TIE! gawd.. NZBCF is over mate. what's with the pink shit?! ... I should say it's damn disturbing. ask any of us at the table and you will agree with my thoughts. it's freaking disturbing....
pool table was booked at Orange in Upper Queen St at 10pm. It was a good night at the place where we met up with a few friends/ ex drunks at my party. We even get to know some 'cheeky people' there. Such a joy coupled with unlimited distractions that you don't mind not playing well since the company of friends and people around will make it a good outing after all. Anytime.
We ended the night with some pearl milk tea at Hulu Cats in town.
Saturday night started pretty late. Attended Yean's 21st at Carpark Bar downtown.... This made me wonder why I didn't have a crazy 21st for my own back then? haha. If only I could wind back the clock it would have been awesome.... but time waits for no one..we should just look forward. there are better things ahead awaiting us instead of holding on to things we couldn't replay.
Spent the rest of the night for Phobia at Kiss Bar till 6am. Learnt one thing about my colleague Betty and friend Yan: They're hard core clubbers. No doubt! haha! Also, Phobia was really good. No RnB but sometimes a bit of change to just dance music can freshen up the otherwise routine Margies outings.
Thanks to the organisers Cynergy and DJ's Fei Bian and Jason. you guys rox.
Mid day yumcha at 12.30pm with Warren, Mia and Yan. This is seen as an essential part of Sundays nowadays . Else I wouldn't feel content with the weekend.
Doesn't matter if alcohol's not there mate. The tea is the essense! Believe me... :P
Sunday was wrapped up with another DVD night session after a dinner with some new friends of Mia along with Yan, Jeng, Carol, Mel and Warren.
Highlight of the dinner at Sun World New Market was definitely the Peking Duck.
Don't have the photos here but it's definitely my favorite snapshot of the weekend! ....sexy duck.
