What's life without money? Torture. What's money without life? Torture.

It's just finding the balance in between these two really. But how many of us can really do this? It's not easy at all. Back in the varsity days when splashing out on a $12 dinner at a restaurant was nothing. But when you come out to work, every single dollar counts!

Varsity Life vs Working Life:

$12/meal vs $5/meal

been talking to a few friends of mine who are still in university and only i get to realise how different the spending habit of both worlds can be.

Yes, you can spend $8 on a Big Mac meal every single day but how much would you have spent in a week? $56! and bear in mind that it's only a meal a day. What about entertainment? University involves so much entertainment that you wouldn't care that much on every $5 you spend on parking, $10 on movies, $10 on pool. What about shopping? Yes! a shirt for a guy could easily suck $30 out of your wallet. If you're in uni, even a normal cotton Billabong jacket could worth $100.

How could a student afford that? They simply CAN'T. As far as i know, $150 per week is the current maximum for a student allowance. No one can really survive on his own just by using the $150. So who 'SUPPORTS' this mad money splashing campaign?

PARENTS.

Stop. We're not gonna blame them. In fact, we should thank them.

We wouldn't learn if we don't mistakes. It's lessons from life that we remember and take note of which enables us to advance.

What I'd say now to the uni students is: spend. I can't tell you how to spend wisely because you don't know what 'wise' means.

But if you have a chance to save, start saving. $10 a week makes a difference! Quit McDonald's , start cooking at home.

:)
